Acceptance of terms
These terms govern use of HTX talent examinations, registrations, subscriptions, digital content, printed study materials, and related services. A student, parent, guardian, school, or authorised representative who registers, pays, or uses a Service confirms that they have understood and accepted these terms.
If you do not accept these terms, do not use the website or Services. Where a student is registered through a school, the school is responsible for ensuring that participant details and all required submissions are accurate and complete.
Online examination terms
Exam integrity and monitoring
- During an online examination, HTX may capture random images and record screen, audio, or video solely for exam integrity and malpractice review.
- Another person in view, answer prompting, use of unauthorised materials, opening other browser tabs, or other observed malpractice may lead to test termination or disqualification.
- Student login credentials are for single-device, single-user use during an examination. Multiple concurrent logins may result in disqualification.
- Monitoring records are confidential and are not shared with students, parents, or guardians except where required by law.
Attendance, location, and communications
- A missed Annual Examination or Monthly Test does not create an entitlement to a second attempt, rescheduling, postponement, or refund.
- Keep registered mobile and email details accurate. HTX cannot be responsible for notices not delivered because of incorrect details or third-party service issues.
- Students registering and paying in INR are treated as India-based participants and follow Indian Standard Time. Printed materials under INR registrations are delivered only to an Indian address.
- Participants outside India should select the applicable non-INR registration option. Registrations made in INR may not be eligible for an examination attempted from outside India.
Offline examination terms
For school-based examinations, students must attend on the announced date. If a student is absent, the school in-charge should record the absence. No alternative date, additional attempt, postponement, or refund is available for a missed examination.
Following successful school registration, HTX aims to review and update the school account within 15–20 days; high registration volumes may extend this to 25 days. First-time schools receive their School Code and login credentials by email or SMS. Student lists are generally uploaded to the school portal within 30 days, followed by a confirmation notice.
Study materials, digital content, and delivery
Allow 15–20 working days from receipt of an order for standard printed-material delivery. Place an order early enough to account for the exam schedule and normal courier or postal delivery times. Orders placed shortly before an examination may not be expedited, and HTX is not responsible for courier or postal delays.
Late printed-material orders do not entitle a participant to a digital copy. Before purchasing digital content, ensure that the device and software meet the stated minimum requirements. Promotional offers may change, are subject to availability, and cannot be applied retrospectively or combined unless expressly stated.
General conditions
HTX or its suppliers own the intellectual-property rights in the website, study materials, digital content, and Services. Unless we give written permission, you may not copy, republish, upload, distribute, transmit, modify, or commercially use that content.
Where permitted, HTX may send service updates and education-focused news or offers to registered contact details. You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications. We may alter, suspend, or discontinue a product, service, promotion, or digital-content offering at any time, subject to applicable law.
Threatening, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct relating to examinations, materials, delivery, results, awards, or HTX staff may result in a participant's subscription or scholarship being terminated and results being withheld or discarded. HTX may take appropriate action to protect its people and Services.
Changes and contact
HTX may update these Terms & Conditions as our Services or legal requirements change. The latest version is published on this page. Please review it before registering or making a purchase.
